Summary of Mission: Our mission is to raise awareness of the value and excitement of new plays and playwrights in a diverse and expanding audience, and to provide resources and outlets for playwrights to develop their craft. Now in our tenth year of producing professional theatre in Ann Arbor, we recognize the benefits of encounters with high quality theatre and believe these should be accessible to all. We advance our mission by programming to a broad range of demographics, supporting playwrights from early development to full professional productions through our biannual Michigan Playwrights Festivals, and removing financial barriers by offering pay-what-you-can tickets at every perform
