Help us give a voice to the voiceless!  The Winnipeg Humane Society (WHS) exists to protect all animals from suffering and to promote their welfare and dignity.  Our ultimate vision is to see all animals treated humanely.  We currently care for more than 10,000 animals annually.  This includes the animals in our shelter, foster homes, satellite adoption centres, and in our community.  We are more than just a shelter.  We run a busy vet clinic, behaviour department, Outreach/education department, a pet registry, and are the only animal organization that has the ability to enforce the Animal Care Act of Manitoba.
