We offer all of our services FREE of charge, while also offering clients the opportunity to give towards the services they receive. 

Over the 30+ years of its existence, the Organization has adapted the operations to effectively meet the needs of the community, expanding the areas of help to include ANY spiritual, mental, emotional, and behavioral area of concern and provide a safe place for men, women, and children to encounter and receive the Love of God!  

We offer Crisis Intervention & Sessions, Overnight Stays, Food, Clothing, and Financial Assistance for Water, Electric and Rent at two locations in Louisville, KY that serve the Greater Kentuckiana Area.  Since 1993, The Wings of Refuge has been a leading advocate on the front lines for those coming out of sexual exploitation, victimization, and trafficking, including victims of torture, satanic ritual abuse, and violent crimes. Today, The Wings of Refuge maintains its status as a safe house for recovered survivors with that being 40% of our client population and increasing. 

We remain dedicated to the training & equipping of those seeking to serve in crisis situations, preparing them to serve people of all walks of life, with sensitivity to all types of trauma.  Lisa Marie Bolin, our Founder & Executive Director, conducts regular trainings nationally and internationally; serving the Louisville community in several advising capacities and as a Chaplain for the Louisville Metro Police Department and for the Anchorage & Middletown Emergency Response Departments. 

We exist to establish Places of Refuge where individuals find hope, healing and support for their Mental, Behavioral, Emotional, & Spiritual Health, especially in times of Crisis...that all may KNOW the love of God, find freedom, see families restored, and be empowered to live out their purpose in community with others!  Currently, operating in the state of Kentucky, as well operations deployed throughout North Africa & Israel from our NGO Wings of Refuge Uganda; we continue to offer all of our services free of charge, while also offering clients the opportunity to give towards the services they receive.
