We rescue dogs that a lot of other rescues would choose not to. We also help rehome dogs that simply are orphaned. That is why they are called Misfits.We do medical and behavioral rehabilitation. In many cases recovery is not an appropriate word, because the dogs have never had a normal way of living to begin with. We are a strictly volunteer organization relying on donations to cover medical expenses and business expenses. Annually we average about 125 dogs a year and we are in our 7th year of operation.
