Now known as Mentoring Alliance, the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Texas began in 1993, when a small group of area youth leaders saw a need for after-school care. In 2015, we changed our name to Mentoring Alliance when three distinct programs with the same overall mission were brought together as one ministry. These three unique, yet overlapping programs include: Mentoring Alliance After School - Boys & Girls Clubs of East Texas program, Mentor Connect (one-on-one mentoring program), and Mentoring Alliance Summer Camps (day-camp program). Our mission is to mobilize godly people into the lives of kids and families, to provide tangible help and eternal hope. Your financial support allows us to operate 3 programs that impact the whole child for the whole year: After School, Summer Camps, and Mentor Connect. Aside from program costs, your contributions largely provide scholarships for kids who would not otherwise be able to experience The Mentoring Alliance.
