The mission of The Haven is to bridge the gap between homelessness and permanent housing for  individuals and families. We do this  bby providing a safe and temporary shelter, and vital coaching of life skills to  achieve self reliance. Our values reflect that our guests are unique, and we believe in interacting with each one of  them holistically with  CARE FIRST - C-Compassion A- Attentiveness R- Respect E-Encouragement F-Fairness I-Integrity R-Results S-Sincerity T-Timeliness. Our vision is to eliminate homelessness in our  community by addressing its root causes and  encouraging independence for  a better tomorrow, one guest at a time. The  Haven is "More Than Just a Bed". We operate two shelters. One for single adults and one for families with children to provide respite to those needing temporary shelter prior to moving on to more stable and affordable housing. Our agency collaborates with community partners to provide basic needs, offers counseling and case management, addresses mental health needs, mentoring, and raises awareness to homeless issues and advocates for the needs of those experiencing homelessness.
