Tandem is a perinatal hub for a 7-county radius that provides comprehensive and accessible perinatal supportive services. The IN Maternal Mortality Review Committee recommends health organizations and communities increase access to doulas, case management, and mental health supports. Our innovative Postpartum House model is the first of its kind in the country and we expect it to change outcomes for at-risk families: reducing infant and maternal mortality rates, near misses, and moderate to severe PMAD outcomes. Currently, Tandem serves over 400 families per year and we expect to see that expand significantly in the next year based on early 2025 data. 

Our programs include the Hoosier Diaper Program (providing more than 20,000 free diapers/month and covering more than 600 bums), In-Home Postpartum Doula Support for all regardless of ability to pay, the Postpartum House, Perinatal Mental Health Support Groups, Parent/Baby Groups and Classes, Childbirth Education, Free maternity/baby/toddler clothes and supplies, Infant Feeding Support, Period Equity Program, and MORE!
