Established in 1986 Stepping Out Program supports and empowers female adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse to journey beyond trauma. We are a not-for-profit community organisation with a long history of providing services and programs centred on recovery and growth.
We provide a safe place for survivors to heal. We provide a trauma informed and a client-centred approach, collaborating with other services to address social isolation and community engagement.
Stepping Out Program provides free services to survivors of childhood sexual abuse and its related trauma, supporting them centred on their personal circumstances such as; trauma recovery and relationships workshops, social inclusion programs, housing assistance and specialised case management to help people get back on their feet.
