To provide core programming and services to our clients, we are looking to purchase gently used refurbished laptops, and continue to build our computer library program. Clients have been able to avail of the laptops for the duration of their employment course with us. This program has enabled our Clients to receive the skills and training to prepare to reenter the workforce. With the use of a laptop to avail of our online programming the long stumbling blocks of childcare and transportation have been removed and we are noticing more single parents are able to actively participate in the services we provide. Our other long term goal is the enhancement of our Food Bank in the quality of food provided and the number of families helped; making food insecurity a distant memory to our clients. The increased development of these programs will increase the overall health and wellness of our single parent families and provide the strong foothold that they need to move themselves and their families onward and upward.
