Sing For Your Seniors (SFYS) is a nonprofit organization committed to bringing live musical performances and meaningful social connection to seniors in need. Through the transformative power of theater arts, our professional performing artists not only entertain but build relationships that uplift and inspire. We are proud to serve diverse senior communities, with a focus on low-income elders, LGBTQ+ seniors, veterans, individuals living with dementia or Alzheimer’s, and those in palliative or rehabilitative care.
At each SFYS Session, professional singers and pianists present a vibrant, hour-long musical program—often sparking sing-alongs and dancing. Our Broadway Sessions, made possible by support from Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, bring cast members from current Broadway shows into senior centers, offering a taste of theater to those who may no longer be able to attend live performances themselves.

To ensure music is never out of reach, our Piano Placement Project provides essential equipment to senior centers that lack the resources to purchase their own. In 2024 alone, we donated two new keyboards, in addition to keyboard stands, music stands, and microphones—removing logistical barriers so the music can play on.
