Saving Paws’ mission is to aid the homeless and neglected animal population of both Meriden and the State of Connecticut. Saving Paws works to nurture, adopt, educate and support the animals in our care as well as the individuals and organizations that rescue them.All donations go directly to the care of the animals at the shelter, as well as community programs such as low cost vaccine clinics and pet food pantries. We continue to make sure all animals from the shelter leave spayed/neutered to help combat the overpopulation issues. We also aim to help keep animals in their homes, rather than be surrendered to the shelter.
