- Nominee name: Save4Paws Rescue

> At Save4Paws, we step into the gap for cats in need—rescuing the vulnerable, nurturing the broken, and preparing them for the furever families they deserve. Our purpose is to transform lives by turning stories of survival into stories of thriving, one safe home at a time.

--

> Save4Paws Rescue is a small nonprofit cat rescue in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, led by president Jackie Scott — saving one paw at a time. With about 40 animals in its care, the rescue takes in cats of all ages and medical needs, gives every cat full veterinary care — spay/neuter, vaccinations, and boosters — and finds them homes through its foster network, direct adoptions, and a long-standing partnership with Nexus Animals.

>

> In March 2026, Save4Paws Rescue coordinated the transport of a large group of cats into Nexus Animals' program, each arriving with complete medical records and health checks. That partnership is still going strong: in September 2026, cats like Bombay, Mr. Pierre, Flex, and Channing were assessed for placement, while four tiny kittens found in a mud puddle were raised in a foster home alongside children and a chihuahua.

>

> The rescue serves its community beyond adoptions. It hosts court-ordered community service volunteers who help care for baby kittens in the nursery, and it follows its adopted cats for life — in September 2026 the rescue reached out about Chris Kringle, adopted back in 2022, just to make sure he was safe.
