Sarah's Treasures Rescue does NOT have a shelter building. Most of our pets are in foster homes. Our foster families provide valuable insight into each pets' personality, temperament, and unique features which help place him/her in the best home possible. Our mission is to provide all animals a loving, forever home. We work with owners and pets alike to make the world a better place for both. We are working hard to establish a veterinary fund to provide every animal with essential vet care including spay/neuter to lower the unwanted pet population. Our goals are to unite humans and animals for lifelong companionship; to provide information to those in need; and to educate all in the responsibility of a lifelong pet. Sarah's Treasures Rescue is incorporated in the state of South Dakota. We have no paid staff or workers and 100% foster home & volunteer operated. All donations go directly to the pets. As of April 29, 2010, we have been approved by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) non-profit org.
