The Telluride Humane Society is dedicated to the compassionate rescue, adoption, and community-oriented services for the animals of San Miguel County, Colorado and its neighboring communities. In a collaborative effort with a network of other nonprofit animal welfare organizations, along with local veterinarians, trainers, volunteer advocates, and foster caregivers, The Telluride Humane Society is able to provide rescue, care, new homes, and medical services to hundreds of local animals. The Telluride Humane Society was founded in 2018 and has been driven by sheer grit, love, and determination ever since. Since its inception, The Telluride Humane Society has been 100% volunteer and 100% donation-based, fulfilling its mission through the kindness and generosity of our animal-loving community.
