SARA provides rescue, rehabilitation, and care for over 600 animals at any given time. SARA helps any animal that comes to us regardless of species, special health concerns, or behavior issues. SARA attempts to find permanent placement for our animals but when adoption is not possible or appropriate, the animals have a home at our sanctuary for the duration of their natural lives. Euthanasia is only employed in the true sense of the word: when an animal is suffering with no reasonable chance of recovery.
