We provide activities for adults with Asperger’s Syndrome. We are all volunteers and many activities are offered by us with hardly any funding.we do Pub night, meals out, walking group, snooker group, picnics, craft sessions, cookery, bowling, trampolining, discussion group, cinema etc. etc. All supervised by us. People with Asperger’s can become very isolated and these groups allow them to mix with others and enjoy an activity that they like to do. That then gives them the confidence to do more.

We should be supported as here in Sheffield there is very very little provision for adults with Asperger’s. We receive very little funding - just small amounts we apply for ourselves. The NHS who diagnose these people send them to us with no funding from them and nothing else that they offer. We have over 400 people on the activity list which we call The A Team,
