The Sacramento Valley Conservancy (SVC) is the region’s only local land trust dedicated to permanently protecting open space, working lands, and natural habitats across the Sacramento Valley. Since 1990, SVC has safeguarded more than 18,000 acres of oak woodlands, vernal pools, grasslands, rivers, and family farms—places that sustain wildlife, provide local food, and offer spaces for people to connect with nature. Iconic preserves like Deer Creek Hills and Camp Pollock allow the community to hike, bike, ride horses, volunteer, and learn about the natural and cultural heritage of our region.
