ROLDA UK
About us
ROLDA is an internationally supported charity working in Romania to solve the appalling problem of the country’s homeless animals – estimated to be in the millions – in a humane, efficient and responsible manner. Our six keys focuses are: rescue, rehabilitation, sheltering, sterilisation, social programmes and education. We have a strict no-kill policy. ROLDA UK works to help ROLDA Romania to achieve these goals, by attracting donations and rehoming rescued stray dogs where possible. With an overwhelming number of stray dogs, ROLDA UK needs as much help as possible to make sure these poor animals are given the home they deserve. Since March 2022, ROLDA actively helps Ukrainian rescuers to help animals affected in war zones. Our work serves animals and people who care about them and it won't stop here, because in this part of the World, million of animals suffer alone, neglected, abused. These animals have no other hope - if we turn our heads and ignore them, they will stand no chance!
ROLDA UK is registered as CIO on 16 July 2015, Reg. no. 1162690. Donations made by British supporters in GBP currency are tax exempt and Gift Aid can be claimed.
We receive no government funding, relying on the generosity of supporters to continue our work.
