Nature and wildlife are two of the natural resources that are dwindling in our communities, states and countries. When wildlife is injured due to their interaction with the human world there are few places that are skilled enough to help these creatures in need. Rocky Mountain Raptor Program (RMRP) is one of those organizations. In beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, RMRP is cares for the majestic eagles, hawks, owls and other birds of prey that are found injured, ill, and orphaned in Colorado and Wyoming. By rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing these amazing raptors back to the wild, we are able to help maintain an important group of species that indicate the health of our environment and grace the skies over more than just Colorado or Wyoming. Humans are fascinated by the ability of raptors to fly and survive in the harsh reality of the wild. Through our education and research about raptors, their habitats and how our human presence influences affect both, we are able to create compassion, knowledge, and a desire to make a difference in our communities for our wildlife and environment. Raptors are a cultural bridge to humans. They are present on nearly every continent on planet earth and have extensive ties in our historical and anthropologic record. Your support of RMRP saves the lives of raptors and enriches the lives of humans.
