Rescue For Life, located near Merrill, WI, is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to reducing homeless pet overpopulation.Our animals often come to our attention through shelters, local breeder releases and other animal rescue organizations. We believe all dogs are “adoptable” and simply need to find the right family. To ensure these animals are placed into the right loving home, we adhere to a rigorous adoption process. Reference and background checks are performed, adoption interviews are conducted along with virtual home visits. All pets are re-homed based on their specific needs and best interest.Our overall goal is to ensure the pet is healthy, sterilized, and best match for the potential adopter in an effort to reduce any chance that the pet will be returned. Our organization is 100% funded by donors so that we may provide shelter, medical care, and so much more to the many homeless animals that come our way.
