About us

A Place Called Hope is a Raptor Rehabilitation and Education Center that specializes in the care of CTs injured, orphaned or sick Birds of Prey with the intention of returning each bird back to the natural environment whenever possible. The demand for these unique services means APCH answers to countless distress calls from the public to rescue birds all across the State. Trained volunteers rescue, re-nest, rehabilitate and release many different native species while also educating the public on ways to lessen some of the most common conflicts our wildlife faces living so closely to mankind. Since 98% of the injuries/situations have to do with living so closely to us humans, this organization is dedicated to preservation of these incredible birds. The Center consists of over 200k square feet of aviary structures devoted to each species thus creating the proper healing space while in rehabilitation care. Running this non-profit is a round the clock effort as this organization admits over 600plus cases annually. Support from the public is how this group operates and donations in any amount are how the animals are kept fed and properly cared for.
