Re:Vision
About us
Founded in 2007, Re:Vision is a community organization in the heart of Westwood (Southwest Denver), with a mission to work with communities historically impacted by social inequities to develop resident leaders, cultivate community food systems, and create an economy owned by the community. Re:Vision’s purpose is to cultivate a thriving resilient community. The organization name, Re:Vision, reflects the commitment to reimagine the community into an equitable and flourishing neighborhood with economic, food, and cultural systems owned by Westwood residents. Led by an all-women, people of color leadership team, 88% of whom live in Westwood, Re:Vision brings residents together to create localized systems for culturally relevant food, economic development, youth involvement and entrepreneurial opportunities to combat a legacy of racist, systemic disinvestment in Westwood. Re:Vision does this work through three core programs: Community Health, Community Wealth, and Education.
