About us
Rainbow Families is a volunteer led organisation, providing a network of support to children and families within the LGBTIQ community. Rainbow Families is the peak organisaion for LGBTIQ parents and their families, advocating on behalf of our community to remove ongoing discrimination. Rainbow Families develops education resources for LGBTIQ parents and carers and their children, as well as offering Australia's first LGBTIQ antenatal class, and parenting courses. Rainbow Families events attract over 500 people, offering a space for LGBTIQ parents and carers an opportunity to connect with each other and be with community.
