The Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living (MCSL, the Centre) is a not-for-profit, community-focused organisation that aspires to be a world-class educational facility and model for the promotion of sustainable technology and practices in homes, urban precincts and businesses. The Centre aims to display and demonstrate alternative energy production and use, waste-water recycling, water and energy efficiency, waste avoidance and green space management. The Centre conducts community educational programs and projects that build social capacity and empower individuals to embrace sustainable lifestyles. MCSL encourages the community to adopt sustainable lifestyle choices to make a positive difference to the environmental sustainability of the Macarthur Region and beyond. The Centre provides an attractive place of environmental excellence where visitors will see sustainability in action; have access to experts and plenty of opportunities to develop their own knowledge, interests and understanding.
