We believe in the power of PLAY! We know that lives can be transformed in just 5 days at camp – we have seen it happen over and over again. Our mission is to make sure that every child who steps off that bus knows they are loved, awesome, unique, valuable and on this planet for a reason. Inspiring each child with a sense of purpose and empowering them to lead helps them overcome the daily challenges they face in the disadvantaged areas of South Africa.Our radical goal is to create an army of these young leaders with character and integrity and the courage to fight to change the social factors that stack the odds against them…Purpose Leadership Adventure for Youth partners with public and private schools in disadvantaged areas who send us their Grade 7 students to be trained as leaders. Using adventure-based learning and leadership development activities, PLAY camps equip children to choose a positive direction for their lives and return to their schools as Christ-centered, servant-hearted leaders. PLAY helps them discover their unique gifts and develop their skills to make wise decisions and influence those around them – to use peer pressure as a force for good!
