Plan A's mobile clinics bring free healthcare services to rural communities in the Deep South. Our clinics in the Mississippi Delta and Southwest Georgia provide family planning, pre and post natal care, STD and HIV testing, PrEP and PEP (HIV prevention), Pap smears, and mammogram referrals. In our communities more than 40% of people live in poverty. 50% of our patients are uninsured with the remainder uninsured (unable to afford copays) - neither state has Medicaid expansion. Our mobile clinics address three of the major barriers to care - distance, time, and cost - by bringing care directly where it's needed most. We also offer services via telehealth and operate a brick and mortar family medicine clinic in Mississippi.
