Paws For Big Hearts Rescue is a registered, veteran-owned, foster-based nonprofit in San Antonio, Texas committed to saving dogs at immediate risk of euthanasia.

We prioritize the most urgent cases—dogs on euthanasia lists, victims of neglect or cruelty, abandoned strays, and owner surrenders with no safe alternatives. Without intervention, many of these dogs would not survive.

Each dog we rescue receives critical veterinary care, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and rehabilitation in a safe foster home. This individualized care allows us to prepare them for successful, permanent placements into loving homes.
