About us
Symphony Acres is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing farm animals and providing educational opportunities for children and young people in Kent County, Delaware. Our mission is to create a harmonious environment where rescued animals and the community come together to learn, grow, and thrive. At Symphony Acres, we believe in the power of compassion, education, and community involvement to make a difference in the lives of animals and people alike.
Our animal rescue program at Symphony Acres focuses on the rehabilitation and rehoming of farm animals in need. From abandoned horses and neglected goats to injured chickens and orphaned piglets, we provide a safe haven for a variety of animals. Our dedicated team of volunteers and staff work tirelessly to ensure each animal receives the medical care, nutrition, and love they deserve. By rescuing and rehabilitating these animals, we aim to give them a second chance at life and find them loving forever homes.
Symphony Acres is more than just an animal rescue; it is an educational facility that offers unique learning experiences for individuals of all ages. Our educational programs are designed to foster a deeper understanding of farm animal care, sustainable farming practices, and the importance of animal welfare.
