Palms Australia supports sustainable solutions to poverty through matching community organisations abroad with skilled Australians. Palms participants give two years of professional skills development in the community organisation. Through building skills that the community themselves have requested, and committing time to impart these skills with contextual awareness, no other form of aid is as effective.
