Our Mate-Ship Limited is a registered charity dedicated to improving the mental health and wellbeing of current and ex-serving military personnel, emergency services workers, and their families. We offer unique wellness experiences on the water, providing participants with a chance to relax, connect, and heal away from the stresses of everyday life. Through free activities such as canal cruises, fishing trips, whale watching, and sailing, we create a supportive environment that fosters camaraderie, relaxation, and recovery. Founded by Shane Dimech, a former Army serviceman who overcame personal struggles with mental health, Our Mate-Ship was born from a desire to help others avoid the same challenges. We believe in removing the financial, physical, and emotional barriers to experiencing the therapeutic benefits of the water, offering everything free of charge to participants.
