On With Life began more than 30 years ago as the dream of eight families - a dedicated, passionate group of survivors faced with the challenge of rebuilding lives shattered by brain injury. Since then, On With Life has expanded from a single inpatient program to multiple programs across multiple campuses throughout Iowa, serving thousands of individuals and their families (now approximately 1,500/year). On With Life’s 300+ staff are known throughout the nation as experts in brain injury, stroke and neuro rehabilitation. The person-centered approach to rehabilitation combines clinical expertise with personal goals of the persons served and their families.
