The Mission of the New Life Food Pantry is To provide food and other resources that improve the quality of life in our community. New Life Food Pantry began in a closet in the basement of St. George's Church with 2 shelves of food. Each week 5-6 people would stop in and pick up a bag of emergency food that had been donated by the church parishioners.

Through the generosity of donors and grantors, we have purchased and modified two shipping containers to serve as storage and distribution for our pantry. We are now able to accept larger quantites of food, including fresh produce for weekly distribution. in 2023, we served 13,174 people thanks to our dedicated staff of about 35 volunteers.

We are now working on provding warm and safe shelter for our aptrons as they wait to come into our "client-choice" pantry.
