Since 1990, Necksafe has been committed to eliminating preventable head and neck injuries through awareness, advocacy, education and research. Though advocacy and research, we help raise the profile of preventable injuries and change hearts, minds and legislation. Over the past 25 years we have ensured that many thousands of First Responders (ambulance, first aid, sporting trainers and healthcare professionals) are aware of the importance of these injuries and adequately trained to prevent accidents becoming tragedies. In motor vehicle and bike accidents, falls, on the sporting field and in the home, these injuries have life-long consequences for the individuals and all those around them.
