Montego Bay Animal Haven was founded in 2009 to raise awareness of the plight of stray and abandoned animals across Jamaica. Our rescue currently houses 175+ dogs, 4 cats and 2 cows. We are run entirely on donations and one of the few animal rescues for stray animals in Jamaica. We are a registered nonprofit in the USA and we need more funding and donations in order to keep our doors open. We rescue, rehabilitate, shelter and rehome every animal that comes into our care. They are all vaccinated and spayed or neutered and kept up to date with monthly preventatives.
