Medical Mutts is a pioneering organization dedicated to providing top-tier service dogs for individuals facing various physical and mental health issues. Our core belief is that the unique bond between humans and dogs can lead to transformative healing and empowerment. Unlike traditional service dog organizations, we train rescue/shelter dogs to become service dogs and extend our support to any individual with a disability, acknowledging that health challenges affect a wide spectrum of people.

Objectives: The central focus of the "Mutts for Mental Health Program" is to offer individuals dealing with mental health disorders access to highly trained Psychiatric Service Dogs. These remarkable animals provide emotional support, mitigate symptoms, and enhance the overall quality of life for their handlers. Our program aspires to foster autonomy among individuals while also raising awareness about the indispensable role service animals play in mental health care.
