Childhood Leukemia Warriors Foundation (CLWF) is a nonprofit organization founded by Ron Radosta after his young son was diagnosed with leukemia just before his 4th birthday. The foundation’s mission is to support families facing childhood leukemia by helping them navigate the emotional and financial challenges that come with a diagnosis.

CLWF’s core purpose is to lighten the non-medical burdens families experience during treatment. Beyond the physical and emotional toll, families often face overwhelming expenses — from travel and parking to meals and lost income. CLWF steps in to provide relief and hope.

• Diagnosis Grants: Immediate financial aid to help offset common non-medical costs families face in the first few months after diagnosis (averaging $3,000–$6,000). The foundation provides a $750 grant to help with essential needs.

• Gas Card Program: Offers $100 gas cards to help families get to and from treatment centers.

• Community Engagement: Partners with local businesses and hosts fundraising events (like the Back to the Future – A Night of Warriors Gala) to bring together supporters and raise awareness.

• Emotional Support: Builds a network of warriors — families, survivors, and supporters — to ensure that no parent or child fights alone.

The foundation envisions a world where every family has the strength and resources to face leukemia without financial fear and where every child knows they are a warrior surrounded by love and support.
