Mathaino, Inc.
About us
Mathaino is an educational 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to serving young students in underserved communities in the US and abroad to reach their full college potential. Mathaino comes from the Greek word Μαθαίνω which means “I learn”. In 2010, as an advocate for Khan Academy, Mathaino expanded its educational outreach program of helping students in underserved communities in New Jersey to include the Khan Academy in after-school programs. In 2011, we joined the Khan Academy international group of advocates for localization of the platform in Greece. Today, almost 8,000 learners have been following our Khan Academy Greek online learning content in Math, Chemistry, and Physics. In 2021, our official Khan Academy website was made available with complete early grade mathematics (K-highschool), giving students a complete solution with videos, articles, exercises, and the ability for teachers to track students' progress in mastering math.
