About us
Mission Statement: The Community Blessing Foundation D/B/A Healthy Living in Recovery offers support to those affected by substance abuse and other co-occurring mental health disorders, giving encouragement to access recovery for addiction and mental health challenges.
Our holistic approach is to work with individuals and their support networks to create an environment that makes enhanced recovery possible. This evidence-based method involves education, employment, hands-on services, animal-assisted therapies, peer support groups, community resources, and the opportunity to create a life and reputation that matches an individual’s values and includes their loved ones. Becoming self-aware and breaking addiction cycles are intimidating and uncomfortable processes. Our structured residential recovery residences support healthy decision-making and offer the space to invent a path forward. Living quarters will allow mothers and their children to stay together. The community at the facility will work as a team and grow together in a family-like environment and impact interegenerational change.
Community Blessings Foundation’s integrated model and comprehensive care plans are specific to the individual and built on the following three pillars.
1. Housing that allows parents and children to remain together while undergoing treatment and unification throughout the recovery process. A lasting recovery takes much longer than the thirty days often covered by insurance. A supervised, structured living arrangement will enable families to form healthy relationships and for all members to receive services to break the cycle of addiction.
2. Person-centered treatment plans must look at the whole person—physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual health throughout their continuum of care. These wellness modalities are evidence-based practices for the entire person, including their family and its unique dynamics.
3. Employment. Lasting recovery involves education, employment, hands-on services, peer support groups, community resources, and the opportunity to create a life and reputation that matches the recovering individual’s values.
