MANNA supports work & projects that the Anglican churches & communities in Mozambique & Angola identify, plan and run themselves. They focus on the needs in their communities at a grassroots level. In many small remote rural communities, the church is the only organisation present and is trusted to provide knowledge, wisdom & community support for a wide range of issues. Our current projects include: • An emergency appeal to support humanitarian aid for refugees who have fled from the violence in Cabo Delgado, northern Mozambique and are being cared for in local communities and camps. • The rebuilding of a small rural Primary school in northern Mozambique destroyed by a cyclone in 2019 complete with latrines and a new borehole for the community.
