At Long Ear Rescue, our mission is to provide safety and rehab for donkeys and mules who have been abused, neglected, or sold into the slaughter pipeline in the US. We work with local law enforcement agencies when there are cases of neglect, and abuse to all equines. We take all of these animals in and provide them with medical and farrier care, and create plans for them to become the best versions of themselves so they may find their perfect home once the equine is fully healed both physically and emotionally.

   We also believe education is the only way animal abuse is ever going to stop. We make it a mission to educate children on donkeys, mules, and horses, and the care these animals need.
