Living Grace Canine Ranch is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving the underserved animal population in Texas since 2020. This population primarily consists of senior dogs who face challenges in getting adopted but bring unique value to our lives. These dogs are at a high risk of being abandoned, facing cruelty, or having their lives cut short. Our mission, of utmost importance, is centered around addressing the specific needs of these dogs and showcasing their societal value to promote empathy and understanding. Our work aims to offer hope, health, and the chance to create joyful memories during their end-of-life stage. LGCR's vision is for Texas to recognize the value of medical care for older dogs and honor life. LGCR carries out its mission of saving, serving, and protecting senior dogs through four programs: • - #LiveLongLiveWell Program • - A Senior Dog Assisted Living Sanctuary (The Bertram Ranch) • - Senior2Senior Companionship Program • - Project Rural Roadside Rescue LGCR provides round-the-clock skilled caregiving to more than one hundred senior dogs of all breeds. Upon admission, seventy-six percent of them have been diagnosed with three or more life-limiting conditions. We aim to prevent life-limiting conditions and slow the progression of diseases for most dogs. All dogs will eventually enter our hospice program and receive comfort until their final breath, which typically occurs after an average of four hundred and nine days. We invite you to learn more.
