At The Little Red Barn Micro Sanctuary, we provide a forever home to farmed animals once destined for slaughter, as all animals are someone, not something. Currently, 30 chickens, 11 horses, 8 sheep, 6 cows, 4 goats, and 2 pigs call our sanctuary home. We work hard every day to provide our residents with the best care, ensuring their physical, social, and psychological needs are met. We make sure our rescued animals have the appropriate shelter, food, veterinary care, and friendships! Everyone at the Little Red Barn has a buddy of the same species to share their lives with.

We also educate. Through personalized tours, social media, and our future children's education centre, we educate the public about the sentience of animals who are farmed, teaching compassion and empathy for all.

Recently, our "micro" sanctuary has grown so much that we have built an addition to our barn so that everyone has a safe place to sleep and shelter from the elements. We are a family run sanctuary that operates through our own funds and donations.
