HAWAII FI-DO SERVICE DOGS
About us
For over two decades, Oahu-based non-profit Hawaii FI-DO Service Dogs has been the vanguard of canine facility and service dog training. Founded in 1999, our small but MIGHTY organization has grown to serve communities with disabilities throughout the islands. Our mission is to enhance the lives of those with disabilities and emotional needs by providing trained service dogs and therapeutic dog interactions. Through dedicated programs like "Visiting Angels," “Dogs in Schools,” and “Vets & Dogs,” we foster human-dog relationships, alleviate emotional distress, and contribute to mental wellbeing. With over 50 volunteers, and a handful of experienced trainers, our puppy raisers and their dogs spend about 15 months of socialization training. We graduate between four and six service dogs each year. Please support us as we support those in our community in need of help.
