As some of you know, I have a rescue for Guardian Dogs. These are ancient breeds that are flooding shelters around the country. These Guardian dogs are incredible but not like a pet dog or working breeds. I have to work with them in a much different way than with other dog breeds. Over the last two years, I have rehabbed and re-homed more than 100 guardian dogs. I deliver almost all of them myself to make sure. Some cannot be in new jobs or homes at this point. It's the nature of what I do. The land owner here is selling, so it's time to make a sanctuary for the guardian dogs. I found some great land that is very remote. This is perfect for dogs, who can live stress-free lives and be free to roam! I will fence in different pastures so that different packs of dogs can live happy lives in line with who these dogs are naturally. Some will be living with animals, and some with me.
