ColdSpring Nurse Mares exists to end the cruel traditions of the nurse mare industry—where foals were orphaned, sent to auction, or killed so mares could nurse higher-value foals. We are making the ethical solution the only solution. Through our pioneering, humane program, we’ve provided ethical nurse mare services to over 400 foals, saving countless mares and babies in the process.
