LOL is an all volunteer, foster-based rescue dedicated to saving dogs in Western NC and upstate shelters from euthanasia by transporting them to partner rescues in the NE and Canada where forever homes await them. We are a 501(c) (3) organization that was founded in May 2017. 100% of our donations go to the direct care of the dogs. LOL saves 500-1000 dogs annually and places them in loving homes. LOL maintains top quality foster homes for dogs; ensures the dogs receive necessary veterinary care including spay/neuter coordinates the transport of the dogs to the NE and Canada: takes in hard to place or medically needy dogs that would otherwise be euthanized; partners with community agencies to educate and promote spay/neuter for animals whose owners cannot afford care.
