About us
I'm a certified licensed vet tech since 1986. I am passionate about helping animals and being an advocate for them, especially for cats. I am a true Leo. I've done my best and helped as much as possible, mainly out of my own pocket, as many animals over the years my income allowed. As of last year I am just doing massage therapy. I can't survive on vet tech wages anymore. This has left me in dire straights now. I am given no professional courtesy for lower fees to help my 501c. The little guy never seems to find help. We are the front line of defense and get the least help. Many issue I can handle myself with reasonable costs of supplies but no one else wants to help me. As it stands now that means a higher euthanasia rate. My dream is to have a sanctuary where animals can live and not be killed because no one wants them, to educate the public about spay/neuter, and the feral cat issues, and to establish a vet hospital with a conscience that isn't just concerned with profits. And lastly to provide for the fury felines I care for that have not found forever homes. I currently care for 44 felines and they and I need help. If you have ever met a leo, you know how strongly passionate they can be in their mission. Than you for your consideration Sue
