Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP) is a rare autoimmune disease where the body's immune system attacks platelets. Platelets assist the blood to clot, and patients with ITP have a low platelet count. ITP Australia New Zealand's mission is to provide up-to-date information, support and advocacy for carers and ITP patients living throughout Australia and New Zealand.
