Ipswich Hospice Care is a community owned and operated not-for-profit organisation providing end of life palliative care for the residents of Ipswich and the West Moreton region, their families and loved ones. We operate a 7-bed inpatient hospice facility, providing nursing care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The service also provides bereavement support services and offers drop-in and peer support groups for both adults and children through Hilda's House. All of our services are offered on a "no set fee" basis, with a request for donation only and Hospice must raise nearly a million dollars each year to fund its expanding programs over and above what is receives from the Government.
