About us
Rise Above helps lessen the financial burden of a cancer diagnosis by supporting local families within the ACT and Queanbeyan region. 100% of donations and proceeds goes towards providing local families undergoing treatment by providing fuel and food vouchers, payment of gas and electricity bills and payment for chemotherapy and pharmacy accounts on behalf of cancer patients. Unfortunately with a cancer diagnosis the expenses increase and income declines drastically due to side effects and treatment, we currently look after over 900 local patients in our community and hope to continue to grow to support more families in need of this vital support.
